Flower power

I would love to change the look of this blog to something more my own taste. Alas, little to no know how and a huge lack of time prevents me from doing that. To give it a more personal touch I will post video’s I find on you tube from time to time. I love to search through their archives and find these little treasure that bring me back to my youth. The sixties, flower power, love, speed, protests and Woodstock.
Those were the days..

I'm always surprised about the warm feelings of my generation about the sixties. Their eyes begin to shine and the voice is softer, longing.... Thanks, Marloes, it was nice to hear and see Melanie again. Btw, is she still with us?

I love the sixties. I was a little girl and I had Pa-pa-um ma-mao slippers and I begged my mother for a mu-mu like Mama Cass's but she did not make me one. She made me wear litlle dresses with laces and sailor outfits. Still I love the 60's. It's a memory in sepia tone and I felt secure and safe in the care of my parents.

Hi,
Mooi muziek. Ik ben van 1957, maar heb absoluut niet in de gaten gehad wat er speelde in de zestiger jaren.
De layout aanpassen van je blog is niet zo heel moeilijk horrrrr...

Hi Marloes!

You've been a loyal reader and commenter at Very Short Novels. I thank you. I'm not technically very astute, either, but I have found it very easy to change themes at Wordpress when I need a new layout or look for my blog. Just a thought. Do you think it's a little ironic the video you selected to give your blog some added professionalism is "no longer available"? Seems so to me. I like you, Marloes. Can I give you a hug? You'll like this: go back to YouTube and search for Free Hugs. That's it. You'll get several results. They all work the same. Turn on your speakers, sit back and enjoy. If you don't laugh while you cry, I want to know why!
